Homeworking Business Travel Consultant – Leading Travel Management Company – Scotland Wide

Our client, a well-established & award winning travel management company, is currently looking to recruit a number of highly experienced business travel consultants to join their expanding homeworking team, and handle all travel arrangements for clients on a portfolio of business travel accounts.

*Please note that successful homeworking business travel consultants are required to have a spare room, home office or quiet space free from distractions which they can use for work purposes

As a ‘homeworking’ business travel consultant you will be required to book all travel arrangements for clients on a portfolio of business travel accounts, and make reservations for complex travel itineraries with International & domestic scheduled flights, hotel accommodation, car hire, transfers, rail & ferry travel. Working for a fast-paced & forward thinking travel company you will act as a first point of contact for all business travel queries, and manage your own accounts and all that entails. You will deal with all operational duties as required (to include airfares & ticketing), and have the ability to advise your clients on general practice, whilst adhering to a pre-agreed service level agreement.

As a ‘homeworking’ business travel consultant you will have extensive experience working for a similar UK based business travel agency, and have proven experience tailor-making complex travel itineraries with scheduled flights and various ground products (to include hotels, car hire & rail travel). You will have previous experience managing your own accounts and all that entails, and be able to demonstrate the highest level of customer services at all times. You will also be very I.T literate, have great attention to details, and have the ability to work to tight deadlines on a daily basis. A good working knowledge of Galileo is a must, and previous experience working in a similar ‘homeworking’ role is also desirable, but not essential.

Successful applicants will be set up with a full I.T system from home and receive the full support of the Operations & Management teams.

Competitive salary on offer of up to £32,000 based on experience, along with a great bonus & benefits package, and sociable hours of work Monday to Friday (core office hours).
